Biography: Jacquii Cooke is a 32 year old Black Poet from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. As Webmistress of Poetry in Color Forum, she is devoted to the more abstract styles, especially those with a strong feminine voice that center around the topic of redemption and righting the wrongs of past transgressions.

I shall begin by posting a pic from one of my most favorite photo collections.

The following pic is part of a FABULOUS (very contraversial) collection of photographs done by Nora Geist called Saintly Cadavers... The entire collection may be seen online at the link below...

One of the reasons I loved this collection so much is how Nora manipulated the photographs to appear with a sort of haze... If you see the entire collection - It's like you're viewing a bit of a dream or some such... Anyway - I like!

A little background about Nora's collection:
"The inspiration for Saintly Cadavers was Georges Bataille's "Story of the Eye", namely the section [that deals with] the priest having sex in the church with Simone..."
