Untitled (Equuait)

Equuait: A poetry form that yours truely came up with! Just 'cause I was bored and wanted to. It's a form of a sonnet with an infinate amount of stanzas in the following rhyming pattern:
aabbc
ddeec
ffggc
(etc)

with a rhyming couplet of xc with 'x' being an unused rhyme.

Each line only has 10 syllables.

In the following piece, I took advantage of refrains.. 'cause I like 'em.. so it still doesn't follow the form completely(I never follow anything completely, not even my own stuff )

by L. E. Evenston

Smothering the grass fresh under my feet,
For me it had come, and me it must greet.
Tiny white flowers, flags of surrender,
For me it came, for me to remember;
The Twilight that had stolen my Love.

Away from the spring of fresh and sweet life,
Lies for me a path opened by a fife.
Surrounded by the flags of surrender,
For me it came, for me to remember;
The twilight that had stolen my love.

A day in the life that isn't quite mine;
For me, the dark is the greatest divine.
With me holding the flags of surrender,
For me it came, for me to remember;
The Twilight that had stolen my Love

The surrender remembers the Flower;
The Twilight that had stolen my Love.

Yay! I'm not going to explain.. its too long and confusing and will probably be very morbid so... yeah. Enjoy!
