Biography: Jacquii Cooke is a 32 year old Black Poet from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I particularly loved this stanza as it shows an unfettered optimism of sorts - possibly even naive hope - And I'm all about my naivete... To think the tree fell upon me... The first thing I notice is the colorful leaves... That is SO me LOL - And so Tennessee actually - The colors in TN when the autumn comes = Amazing!
