to JPIC .... You will find this place is like your own little piece of heaven in a world too often filled with disappointments. We are all very friendly here and too soon we will become like extended family. At least that is how I have come to think of several of the people here.
I had never been to a forum like this before .. one that truly encourages and doesn't try to tear ones words down and apart. As you can tell I have been on other poetry forums and often bore the brunt of being torn apart. I do not believe in the word Cliche' because so someone else used that word... the way one uses it is fresh and new to them. I think that maybe real poet critiquers have just become so jaded in trying to fathom the meaning of all they read. So.... Me? I just read to enjoy now. Because Poetry is meant to be enjoyed.
I do offer some ideas now and then if I find a piece can possibly use it but never harshly.... I term them as use or lose because ultimately a Poem is a person thing to the writer and to the reader as well.
