It's always great to meet a new friend! How young are you? I noticed you didn't say and I was curious.
Whether young or old, this IS a great place to write and to improve. As I've found out, it's good to have a natural talent for writing but that only goes so far without experience. You will learn so much here! I'm looking forward to reading your work!
