I seen my ma naked down the hall
She screamed, “COVER YOUR EYES BOY!”
Thinking that I hadn’t seen
What she’s got
But I closed my eyes anyways
Because she was teaching
Teaching me not to look with eyes
But to look with heart
To one day find a woman that
Was just as powerful as she
A woman that I respected
And Admired as much as her
That I’d be willing to go momentarily blind for her
To see how great women are
To witness how they are truly
Our last lights in the
