Oh wow! I'm sorry to hear about your Brother. It truly can be said that our Armed Forces have risked greatly in this most recent "War on Terrorism" --- I can agree that there has to be some sort of change - but speaking solely on the Iraq situation. How can we just 'get out of there' with a swift quickness - knowing that there has been tremendous improvements and strides made towards sharing our democratic principles.

Not to be completely numb to the woes there - But American Soldiers knew when they signed up with the Armed Forces what could be the possible outcome of such service. War is not fun stuff. Especially when you have cowards -- hiding in shadow -- encroaching from near and far...

And please - 21 years old and pschology student - That's quite an accomplishment and believe you do have a voice. You have a vote too - so it's only natural that you'd have opinions on the political election as well! I still think though - that Obama hasn't a chance unless he embraces Hillary as his running mate. That type of team would be something to reckon with.

I have a heart for those American brave men. Many times, the U.S. Government donīt pay attention to the common people and their needs, instead they focus in the private companies and their financial interests. So, in other words, greed, power and money prevail, instead of compassion and caring for the American average people.
God bless America, the greatest Nation on Earth!!
Cordially,

So true MS STARRY - But truly - Can you honestly ask yourself "When has the world not ever been at war?" I think you'll be startled to find the answer is "NEVER" --- Since the inception of the world - the world has been fighting each other. And I'm one that believes that this current "War on Terrorism" is being waged for a noble cause. But then again - it's quite hard to put a face on terrorism - when the terrorists are hiding under cover of darkness. And to think the recent Supreme Court decision has even given some of the "enemy combatants" basically the same rights as an American citizen...

You might find John McCain's rebuke of the decision quite interesting: McCain slams Supreme Court on terrorist detainees -- Apparently Obama hasn't offered a comment as far as I know of...

LOL - you've got to be kiddding - You actually believe that dreadful statement you just made? Then you're more insane than I first thought... Any idiot would be able to see that Obama left that church because he thought it would better his presidential aspirations...

And now as the stalkers aka "insurgency" has staked a wonderful claim by terrorizing those people over there and lurching in dark corners, shooting at American forces whilst setting up roadside bombs and sending in 14 year suicide bombers.... You have the audacity to say that this thing is not about liberation? Simply incredible. But not surprising since most democratic haters are quick to talk about President Bush's stake in the oil industry or what-have-you. One thing you neglect to talk about is the Democratic congress's role in the current economic woes. Yep - The Democrats have been sitting quite pretty there up on the Hill for several election cycles. It's easy to point the finger at the "buffoon" President isn't it?

That little "z" must be because you're tired? LOL - You have issues Z .... Major Issues... McCain has (to my knowledge anyway) never played the "wounded pow card" as you so astutely comment. It is interesting to note that he has never (as far as I know) ever been equated to a coward as Obama has. Definitely you can concede that McCain would make a better Commander in Chief based solely on his experience as a Soldier right? Or are you too "real" in your lala-land to even admit that? Or are you gonna reply with some diatribe about how experience doesn't matter because blablablablabla and ugh?

I wonder what you think of John McCain's stance on the recent Supreme Court ruling... He has said the following:
"I think it's one of the worst decisions in history," McCain said. "It opens up a whole new chapter and interpretation of our constitution."

McCain attacked the decision, saying the law he helped write "made it very clear that these are enemy combatants, they are not citizens, they do not have the rights of citizens."
