Wracking knife-sharp nails through smoke tinted air
Giggling in heightened anger whilst smothering the flame
Trudging through the vulnerability of unsheathing my soul for fame
Slackening my lips into a melancholy pout
Disgracing my wisdom for a death enhancing route
Mingling with ignorance; struggling to internally succeed
At disentangling myself from this orgasmic wild weed
That seeps into my flesh; a permanent tattoo
Dulling my intellect while I'm trying to thrive without you
Jolting my sense into numb self-survival
Glaring into the abyss of this cave-like hole
