I enjoyed reading this poem because I'm a horse person myself and I remember when I was younger I'd write horse poems/stories like this one that you wrote. I liked the rhyming you had with it and liked the overall story you were telling as well. Anywho, thank you for sharing this and it was nice to read some background on your poem too.
