Meh - the silence and lack of donatons may be one of the reasons I close this Forum down. I've put so much work into the recent upgrade. The vBulletin licensing fee is due. I receive automated database errors daily because of the popularity. I would like to purchase advertising so that people know about the wonderful thing we have here at JPiC. It could be interesting to be able to afford our own private hosting. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...

I post this thread, asking for charitable contributions from Members who have no doubt benefitted from this Forum and have no problem at all sharing their writing and such....

I'm not gonna come out of my pocket for the fees.

If the vBulletin license does not get renewed - It means that there will be no further updates, upgrades and/or enhancements made to JPiC Forum. The renewal fee is due before the end of September 2008...

I see there are people who have given millions of dollars to political campaigns and not 1% of that money is coming to further the beauty that is JPiC Forum and for the arts in general. It's mind-boggling and I particularly want to say FUCK OFF! Sorry.

Again: I'm not gonna come out of my pocket for the fees that keeps this forum online and 100% free. Perhaps I should simply close down the registration process?
