i've posted a few things already, but havent had a chance to look at others work til now. sorry for the delay. i will say i have been to more than a few forums for writing and i like the feel of this one the best. i've been to some that are full of teenage rage and some that will summon the guillotine if you have a semi-colon misplaced.

i am a 43 year old soon to be divorced dad. my lil one is 5 and she rules my life with my blessings of course. i wrote my first poem when i was 12, but have only started taking it seriously in the last 8 or 9 years. I haven't actively written any "new" poetry in a bit, but I also write lyrics, so I guess that qualifies by default.

I work in telelcommunications and have for over 20 years. I'm doing a lateral move at the moment from heavy duty work like cell telephone site construction to network design. I had 3 back surgeries in 9 months so it kinda body slammed me.

no boohoos needed...i'm doing fine and on the way back up. I have two sayings I live by:
