So many welcomes, thankyou. I"ll tell you this, I like this site already, for one silly reason. I like the dark background on this board to type, since my eyesight isn't what it used to be, if only everyone could do this!!!
I'm posting a poem I have on another site, and it's very simple. I'ts in a contest, but my "competition" are experienced, professional writers, so I don't expect to win, but I really don't care either, I just love to write.
I had to write it to a photo of a young boy, looking out a window, with a very sad, or fearfull look on his face. Not a photo I usually write to, but in time, I"ll hopefully figure out how to put my photos on here with the poems,
so, thankyou all, feel free to critique me, I would love to improve my writing.

oh, I typed my name wrong one day, it's really "Barbara" but hey, if I"m ever famous (ya right) I like the looks of my "writing name". I know, I little silly, but I like it...
