Mickey Mouse Color Wheel

I created this piece a few years back. I had taken a color theory course at a local community college. We had to make a color wheel with real paint. I was also taking a course on Adobe Illustrator. After the semester was over, I was playing with the color theory on Adobe Illustrator. I made some really cool digital art pieces. This is one of them.

Greetings Jolie

Your Mickey Mouse color wheel is absolutely stunning!!!!

How beautiful. It could be made into a big poster for any artist's wall. I love it very much.

Although I'm not a painting/drawing artist. I find this color wheel extreemly helpful. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Blessings

Dear Jolie,

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your color wheel!! It would be most useful in any art class, yes. Sally's idea of a poster is wonderful! Your works make me feel like maybe I would have benefited from a formal art education. I took the Science route instead. Anyway.....you are one artiste to be reckoned with dahlink! Love ya!

Kim

Thanks Kim and Sally,
Color is so wonderful to learn. There is sooo much more to it than one might imagin. I wish I would have stayed with art, but I changed my major to literature and writng when I transfered to the university. I thought it had more options for a career, but you are so right. I left art with the deepest sorrow. It was like loosing someone I loved. I breezed through art classes, but lit classes were a struggle. I know they are similar, but I truely love art with a passion. I know why they say do what you love. Even writing poems, I feel insecure and I just don't have the same desire to create, but I do love the things I learned from the great master writers and philosophers. I love all the artists and writers so much, and I love all of you too. There's just something passionate about turning your heart inside out in words or in colors and shareing those feelings with friends.
