Greenpeace said it was seeking hundreds of adult volunteers to pose in the nude on a Swiss glacier for publicity photos about global warming that will be shot by the American photographer Spencer Tunick, who is renowned for his photos of crowds of naked people.

“The melting of the glaciers is an indisputable sign of global climate change,” said the environmental group Greenpeace, which co-organized the event.

Hmmmm - Mr. Tunick has done many many "living sculptures"
I found this one interesting because of the "literal" contrast of elements:
warm bodies, cold ice LOL

Anyway - thanx YAWL for commenting

Jacquii.

ps - MS KIM - I can't seem to see myself anywhere on that piece of ice
But considering how fuckin miserably hot it's been in TN lately - would be interesting if I did

This is interesting, but it doesn't offer much contrast as far as color is concerned.

Yeah - I agree - but I think that may have actually been Tunick's intent
I've seen other works of his and the color contrast is generally non-existent, bleak at best.
I think the main focus of his work is about "making a point" LOL - whatever that may mean.
There's actually a "sculpture" of his --- I think --- In the Lots Of Humor section Look @ The Sheep --- tehehehe

Jacquii.
