Ken's birthday!

I couldn't believe! I was sitting here, reading poetry and making comments when I realized why Ken paused before he went to work. He was waiting for me to tell him Happy Birthday!

I feel so like an ass! I wouldn't have let him walk out that door without saying it to me! I have to call him and tell him that, lol.

Anyway! Gotta get off here soon cause I need to bake a cake and clean a bit. We're going out for supper tonite. It's a tradition started so long ago I can't remember for sure when it began. I take him out for his birthday and he takes me out for mine. The only rule has been that neither lets the staff of the restaurant know it's the other's birthday. That way there's no embarassing singing.

Might break that rule tonight, lol.
