maneuvering through internet sites is difficult...for instance have just discovered that this site has links to other poetry sites and has a marvelous poetry definition page.
And it is all there right on the google page, too. But reading the Internet is also a slow process for us older folk; after all it's not like reading books, or signs, or even people's faces. I look at a page and everything is there all at once, but my mind is all divided up. I'm still struggling to figure out Jpic, so am probably not always aware of what I'm doing. I'm happy to be here, though, and have really appreciated all the reviews; they have given me some good insight into how to make changes to some of them. Keep the critical comments coming, please.

Yeah, the internet can be a confusing place! I was a late bloomer with starting to get the internet and getting my own computer (I was like 12-13, which nowadays kids much younger and being brought up on the internet, and kids are really fast to learn how to use it too). Anywho, just keep on plugging away at it and eventually things start to make sense, but I agree with you, sometimes it can be hard to understand and get with surfing the web.

Hey MIKEHAM - Well, at 32 I'm no spring chicken either - But I'm quite fond of saying I'm 32 going on 17 if that counts LOL

I must admit though - as soon as I heard of the internet - I was on it... Yeah - I don't have much of a life - don't party hearty hearty HEARTY like I used to do when I was in my 20s - but it's interesting to me - I'm a computer geek.

Yes - I know exactly what you are saying - technology these days is advancing at a steady rate - I hear Google even introduced a new webbrowser yesterday even... And yes - I have quite a few JPiC affiliate sites online too.

And with the many features and specials available here at JPiC - I suppose the navigation can be a bit daunting for some newcomers who aren't as computer savvy as surfers like myself - But I've tried very dedicatedly ((especially with the recent re-design)) to make navigation as simple as possible. For instance - starting a new thread is as simple as clicking the button and selecting the section you want to post in... The button is found on ALL Forum pages --- The new Quick & Easy Menu at the top of forum pages has a host of "quick" links to select from and likewise with the main navigation menu... May take a little bit to get used to - but once you've navigated around the forum a bit, you'll realize it's not as daunting as it 1st looked

At anyrate - if you have any questions about navigation or forum procedure - Don't hesitate to let me or any Member of the JPiC Moderating Team know - We'll be happy to assist.

So - Keep enjoying the Forum and nice to see you blogging on JPiC!

Jacquii.
