Fading Fast

No sleep lately, people...
my daughter has asthma and we've running back and forth to the doctor...getting inhalers...and following up again...and again....and now getting steroids...and she hates the dang pills!!
And then the side effects are, along with a slew of other things, bone pain, muscle pain, and shortness of breath...does that sound right to anyone? Hmmmphh! So she stayed home today because her ribs hurt! I want to take her off the steriods...so far she's taken 3 and it's only for 3 days...but a friend says that once they start they have to take the whole dose? I guess I will be speaking to the doctor tomorrow morning...tried to call today but from the time I got into the door...slippers in hand, purse and something else, I forgot...oh lunch! My name was called, over, and over, and over, and over...my computer isn't working properly...my phone is receiving duplicate emails...my screens are not showing right...where are the tickets for tonight's hockey game? blah, blah, blah, blah....I didn't get to run to the kitchen for coffee until after 10:30!! Glad someone actually made some! Plus, someone had the foresight to bring in bagels...I was in heaven...breakfast is always done at work...bad, bad, bad...lol!
So to make up for all that I got my boss to agree to a cruise...company's 5th anniversary, then I planned it really quick before anyone could change their minds, sent off the deposit...so now February 15th!!! I can't wait...my first cruise ever! WOW...just imagine...three days of eating anything you please...seafood here I come! no chores, no kids...no work....CAN'T WAIT!!! Did I say that already?
and no money needed! The best part!
So....ok, I got all that off my chest...will go eat my pork ribs and home made macaroni and cheese...and fried ripe plantains. yippee!!

Thanks Kyanta!! You are so sweet! She is doing much better, actually...and just using an inhaler now...which I hope will soon go away. The weather here is so changeable day to day...from hot to cool, and sunny to overcast and damp...hard to dress appropriately... you just have to take a sweater everywhere to be safe. I hope all is well with you.

Ms Nomad...oh my goodness, yes I hope your daughter gets better....much better soon....in my prayers!!! There is allot going on lately with sickness. That cruise will be well deserved indeed!
