1st Rejection Letter

Posted 08-27-2008 at 05:51 PM by SarahNSH
I got my first ever rejection letter for my Novel in the mail. It was kind of uniquely worded with it and just a standard rejection letter, not personalized, but I immediately took it and put in my display folder. I have my rejections in the folder and my accomplishments in it too.

I sent off just a query letter to another place online since they're eco-friendly and I like to give whatever agent I send off my stuff to exclusive rights of reading the stuff instead of going with a bunch of agents at once. So, I'll wait and twiddle my fingers for potentially another rejection letter to be sent to my email this time.

Well, I knew what path I'd be taking with this whole search for an agent for my novel... rejection, after rejection, after rejection, and this is just the beginning. But, I love my novel, the characters within it, my main character, and I think that it's unique too and I'm determined to find someone. I'll keep on trying and trying until I can't anymore. Or, until my display folder gets filled up, lol.

Anyways, crossing my fingers...
