CREATOR'S HANDS ~ CINQ TROIS DECALA RHYME

For these are the hands that made the seas, the valleys and the sky
and though strong they open gently to comfort our every cry.
We fight these hands, we disbelieve in all their mighty power,
though with one soft touch they could open petals of a flower.
These are the hands of an artist who painted the earth from thought
and from those thoughts formed mountains of ideas he shared and taught
and when we stopped reaching for these hands hold, for us he still fought.
A carpenter, a painter, and a teacher in each palm lies.
When will we stop fighting the hands that heal and believe each hour?
these hands made and are hands that can catch the fly that can't be caught?
