Death of Writer's Block

Without word the night sky fell
upon the lamp within myself
and caught aflame the muse in me,
where burned no word that I could see;
as a mute, the silence calmed,
for in my mind I found a song-
thus I found a resting place,
singing in the arms of grace.
So, tell me not there is no way
to pound that block into its grave
for we each hold the wordy key
to unlock the Muse and free!
