Delight

As the glass shatters through night of unrest,
light scatters with vows of protest,
Protest as you wish, but
Helena has golden hair,
she marks where she spreads sorrow,
here and there,
with touch the damned reach points
where no man came,
one dream down, one 1lb of sorrow gained,

I keep feeding and growing until I'm gluttoned out and full,
prosper aging heroes take your fight don't stall,
rocks don't change, they just erode,
night might age the rock with cold,
but you can't fool a masked unkown,
intuition favors not the bold,

Helena will steal as sad and feel your wants and multiply
your thoughts with fear,
Helena of the night,
sometimes called delight,
will put you through a course impossible to steer,
this last dream of mine fell like the holy grail,
with no one to find my mind swells in search of lost time,
while delight snears secretly holding my steps,
lost in a fool's path where she sees my path,
but I no longer know where I'm going,
one dream down, one 1lb of sorrow gained,

Dear Erik,

This was a fascinating read...my mind went into many, many directions. The strongest vision, I got was a ship at sea, with a full crew, and turbulent currents, and gusty winds, and a crew full of wine and merriment! I loved this. What was your inspiration for this.
