Garden of the Blue moon

Garden of the Blue Moon

Kneeling in the blue glow of the full moon
Planting, silent and tender sensual dreams
Being cultivated deep into the ground.
As the moonlight waltzes across the fertile dirt.
Composing each speck of earth
To look magnificent in the nocturnal darkness.
The aroma of the fiery maple chips; drifts in the breeze.
As the tranquil whispers of wild flowers, and nature
Tell ancient secrets of the days long ago
Take some time to meditate
As you rub your hands in the dirt,
And gaze upon the blue moon and stars
While pondering your destiny, your fate
In the midnight garden of life

Bear,

Once again BIG HANDSHAKE. You have an incredible connection with nature and those things that God has blessed us to make us feel warm and alive.

Loved the title and these lines-

Take some time to meditate
As you rub your hands in the dirt,
And gaze upon the blue moon and stars
While pondering your destiny, your fate
In the midnight garden of life

A good poem that gets you in the mood
for what nature is. A nice cozy read.

This is lovely - I especially like the opening lines:

"Kneeling in the blue glow of the full moon
Planting, silent and tender sensual dreams "

I never thougth of the moon having a blue glow...it is something I will have to explore as I write many many moon-ku and am always seeking new ways to see it.
