Mars

It winks at us, an owl-eye hung in black,
coming back for the young,

who will tell a tale of bright summer stars,
and where Mars might come from.

Jer: Yes, The mighty red planet seems to wink at us at times. The imagery in your poem was right on. Star gazing is so addictive and full of wonderous questions.
Thanks for the GREAT read.

Blessings
