Old Pa Deeder danced to his name,
With old Mrs Hippy who figured his game;
But she didn't care, she was carried away,
By the current affairs and the time of the day.

Old Pa Sole was all on his own
Wrapped up in his thoughts, his bird had just flown
Miss Takes caused him trouble, Miss Conduct did too
And the Two Miss Demeanors had made him feel blue

LOL! Loved it! Mississippi was carried away by the current! LOL! I was carried away by the excellent rhythm of the piece, the rhymes and the great story-line. This was really a joy to read and I'm looking forward to more! TY for posting!
