The Next Life II

Warm, nourishing, liquid life
enfolds, protects, provides
as growth has sprung
from tiny speck...
a seedling
aware of only darkness
feeding
floating
beloved
anticipation
increasing!
Deaf to the cacophony of alternate reality
until
existence shifts rapidly
sliding down a narrow tunnel
tugging tentacles atrophy peace
previously unknown confusion
a new dimension entered
light
strange beings stand tall around
the new babe!
