One Voice for the Wilderness

One Voice for the Wilderness
~

I am just one voice speaking for the voiceless in the wilderness
Take a moment to clear your minds look at the beauty surrounding you
Listen to the cries of the wild, the wolves, moose, owls, all creatures
From northern mountains formed with snow and ice, and wind
to the mid-west prairies beneath celestial skies, the open ranges
~
The wolves sing their evening songs under the brilliance of the moon
Songs of sacrifice, loneliness, of happiness and companionship
All creatures stop mesmerized by captivating songs which rise
From frozen mountains to the black velvet skies, radiant stars and moon
If the congressmen get their way! It just might mean the end of the wolf
~
One Voice isn’t sufficiently to stop this outrage to the animal world
Now it’s the Wolf they want to stop protecting what’s next
the bear, mountain loins, wild horses, what species is going to be extinct
To one whose understand whose walked bears the scars. of howling wind
Which sweeps the earth, the angelic zephyrs sounding like flute and fife
~
First we lose the wolves then other wild creatures, bears, birds, mountain loins
If we don’t stop that then we lose the most important thing we’ll
Lose the forests the wilderness, what are we going to leave our children
A zoo full of extinct animals, now long will they live, survive
~
Judgement is on us all, Like those who cried for our wild creatures and wilderness.
Listen now, we may not have so long to stop congress, progress
Or to stop the damage we’ve already have done to our once beautiful planet
Please listen to the crying voices and care, pray that the songs of the wild never end
The wolves, birds, owls and all creatures and wind that fills the arctic air
flow for all eternity.

This is important

G'day Bear...
It seems your city enclosed public servants rule in the US too...they just don't have a clue.

May you awaken the fools

Thank you so very much Terryanne. Yes it may start with one voice but hopefully soon it might be a million voices or maybe even a billion but it has to start with one voice.
