Silent Onslaught (CinqTroisDecaLa Rhyme)
Silent Onslaught
Nighttime woe fills my most secret of sacred places; I want...
I conjur that sweet caress to feather my... Silent onslaught.
The nether regions of my very own soul delights in it:
The temptation beckoned with whispers of feigned-voice innocense.
Yet my own body succumbs to the pressures of such sweet pain
Muscles tense and the hint of a tear dares show my hidden shame,
Though smoothly the wet lets the sigh - that dare never come in - reign.
The beauty of such a terribly horrid, yet haunting taunt
Whilst Mom sleeps under covers of seven thickly huge blankets
My moan is heard. I swear I never want to be raped again.

Ummm, it really hurts inside to read this....I don't know the personal feeling but a few women I really love and care for have told me stories like this and it is horrible; I truly don't know what to say...I mean it is an amazing poem but the topic just...*sigh* I don't know, I wanna say I loved it but it seems weird to enjoy a poem about rape; I'm sorry

Hey KING and ARIONO - thanx very much for your nice comments - This poem is quite the culmination of my last 6 years of living...
I've read stories from Women who've been raped and the guilt they have from actually enjoying the sensations.... But I'm sure most know that rape is about control! I just wanted to write about that in a way that makes sense to me. As I am a very sexual being - I just can't really understand how anyone would want to take that which is most dearest to me and mines: control, freedom, liberty....
Glad you guys liked the write. The rhyme scheme is actually one of my favorites!

I read this over and over. Such a beautifully written poignant testimony. I am left however, speechless. I am sorry that you experienced this. Yes, I also have read stories about the unspoken pleasure of this horrid act. The culmination of the selection of words, rhyming style, and imagery is something to behold, as far as your craft. The subject matter is a very difficult concept to read about, therefore, one can only imagine how you felt scribing this piece. To share such memories tainted with pain is amazing. I am having a moment reading this.......

Yes - definitely makes sense - there's an entire scope of emotions that happen after and during rape.... This is only one emotion that I found most interesting, as the physical and emotional were at odds with each other.
Anyway - thanx for commenting GIRL - I appreciate the poetic love

Wow, MsJacquii, this poem just leaves me speechless... and it's so raw with the emotions and it mixes so many things with it with the imagery, emotions, ect. Let alone, the last two lines just literally punch you in the gut with what you're saying. I actually have a poem I wrote months after I was nearly raped by a guy but I just can't share it... because it just has me feeling so vulnerable afterwards with writing it and I'm afraid to tell what happened, if that makes sense.
And, this poem really speaks to me because I was so disgusted by the fact that at times I enjoyed it with my body, yet, my mind screamed that it was just wrong and to get away. I commonly heard the few people I told ask me, "why couldn't you get away from him?" And I just couldn't... I was too scared, kind of frozen in my mind.
So, this is such a beautiful, powerful, and emotional write. Thank you for sharing it because I am really blown away by this and it kinda gives me the courage to eventually share my own story and face what happened to me too.
