Soft Rain, my thoughts and Me

Soft Rain, My Thoughts, And Me

~
Gazing out the window, and listening to the rain,
Hearing the pulsating melody on the rooftop,
Spring, A time of rebirth, growth, a new freshness,
Spring, the season I truly treasure,
Spring a season that’s forever changing.
~
The weeping willow with it’s pendulous branches,
Seems to be bowing its head and sobbing,
The sprouting tear-drop shaped leaves flowing,
Always reminds me of crystal raindrops,
Descending from the cloudy skies.
~
Then there’s the white and pink morning glory petals,
Stretching, reaching for the golden sun beams,
As the beams of radiance dance,
Through the gardens and yards,
As the new day approaches,
~
Gray clouds start to fill the sky,
In the distance there’s a gentle rumble of thunder,
Echoing through the valley swiftly,
Look over at that distant hilltop,
Watch for one of God’s magnificent miracle,
A beautiful rainbow appears.

My Dearest Bear,

I do not know even where to begin, or to end. The title is what captured my attention, and set the tone of the entire piece. If I were to quote, I would have quoted the entire poem!! This is a Brilliant visual Expression of Liquid Spring. Magnificent Dear Poet!!!! From the beginning, I said I will be watching you, and you continue to satisfy my every poetic need. Bear, do you have any of your work published or a book of your works. I would love to purchase, if I may. Loved it!!
