SPRING INSPIRES ME ~ DOUBLE ETHEREE

Warm
sunshine
puts me in
the mood to write
when spring returns with
flowers delight. From bees
to butterfly wings to the
wake up call that the robin sings
to pretty petals and garden swings.
April rains a bit of inspiration.
Sprouting her flowers in exultation,
A spider in dew of sun-drop dawn
weaves his silk web on fresh cut lawn
while bunnies chase their fluff tails.
Inch worms inch up cattails.
Spring has much to write,
from birds in flight
to raindrops
on a
bud.

Love this poem! Your images are vivid and the lines easy to read. I don't know much about poetry forms so it took me a few minutes to realize what you were doing, lol. I love how the syllables are increased in each line then it mirrors back down.

The above quote, to me, is the most vivid and on the same line as I see flowers in Spring. I feel like dandelions, the bane of a lot of property owners, are Mother Nature's way of saying, "Look what I can do!"

hugs,
Gail

Thanks so much for the sweet words Jacquii*hugs*
I always liked the shape of these too. It's finally getting warmer here in Pa.
but where on earth was it snowing here in Pa, not where I live
which is not to far from Philly.
