STAR-STAGE-SCREEN-PLAY

STAR
brilliant
childhood fame

With fifty three curls
that are all made the same
This loveable young lady

"with an unforgettable name."

STAGE
dancing feet

Curly top, Dimples
Into steps with the beat
Bouncing skirts and winking flirts

"A smile so warming and sweet"

SCREEN
Heidi
watch her charm

Singing from her heart
lifts her hat, waves her arm
keeping creatures from all harm

"Rebecca of Sunny Brook Farm"

PLAY
acting
grinning brow

and still quite famous
to appear even now
many will sigh, some will cry

"When Shirley Temple takes a bow"

Blessings
Sally

I enjoyed this as much as I didn't understand it that well,

Thank You for your comment Erik:

Let me clarify the poem a little bit. This was a Clarity Poem
A Clarity Poem is a poem consisting of two triplets and a single line (7 lines in all) Usually, this poem is center aligned when displayed.

The first triplet has 1, 2, and three syllables. The title of the poem is the one-syllable word of the first triplet, which is displayed in all capital letters. This line is followed by a two-syllable line. and then a three-syllable line both of which clarify the definition of the poem, or are synonyms for the title.

The second triplet has 5, 6, and 7 syllables. It's design is based around a life event contained within the triplet which helps give a poetic view or outlook on the first line (title)

The last line is 8 syllables and is in quotations as this line contains a quote that defines the first word (title)

I hope this helps.

Blessings
Sally
