Acrostic -The first letter of each line spells out a word relating to the poem when read downward.
Double Acrostic - The first and last letters of each line spells out 2 or more words when read downward.

Returns all affection and loves to naP
Often playful, though now much oldeR
Takes my sleeve to say, hey lets gO
Takes my chocolate, i think, buT
Wether it was her, i can't be surE
Every single visitor makes her maniC
If they don't pet her, she will pouT
Let a stranger anywhere near, and I
Expect obedience but i'm indebted tO
