Tulip and Daisy

The tulip is like a painting,
So pretty in its form.
The daisy is like a sketching,
It will make you warm.
The tulip’s music is like a solo;
Quiet, but grand.
The daisy’s song is an orchestra;
Like a big brass band.
The tulip is regal as a great old queen;
The daisy is bright as a young princess.
The tulip’s petals are butterfly wings;
The daisy’s a rough blanket mess.
The tulip is like a rainbow in the rain,
In all places, it leaves its colorful stain.
The tulip shudders in the cold,
Fragrant and fragile, like a glass slipper untold.
The daisy is like an urchin child;
It lives in all places, it can be so wild.
But still stays firmly in the ground,
It will hold true, and even astound.
The tulip makes my eyes rejoice,
But the daisy gives me back my voice.
haha. my ONE poem from 8th grade that wasn't stupid....
but i had to edit it...

Your poems from yesterday are great! I like flowers and Tulips happen to be one of my favorite ones...beautiful, just like the poet's heart. Yeah, you'll do...
