"What's in a Name" (acrostic)
What makes up the origin of personal names.?
Had descendants once paint them in an Ocre of red
Accenting the walls in the caves where they dwelled?
Traditions remembered when finally expelled.
So in searching for answers can we question the dead?
Indeed documented in libraries old,
Names of the peoples whose stories are told,
Ancient reminders where centuries fold.
Nothing but timelines capture this claim,
Answers to questions omitted through ages.
Most likely as not in dictionary pages.
Events never ending so what's in a name?

Hey everyone! Have you ever wondered where your name came from?
I found out that I can trace my family tree (on my father's side) clear back to the 1200s
My ancestor Sir Anthony De Tipton was born in 1260.
He was knighted on the field of battle by King Edward the 1st on Dec. 11,on 1282.
