Where Do You Go, Dream Man?
His radiating glow
Illuminates my darkest world.
His arms hold me so warmly.
A place my fears become unfurled.
To his soothing voice,
and to his loving gaze I'm drawn.
One minute he's my dream man.
Then, in an instant, Dream Man's gone.
The man who shines so brightly,
is now nowhere to be found.
Instead, a man of darkness comes,
Emerging from the ground.
He stands so cold and timid.
To cheer him up, there is no chance.
He'll strike without a warning.
I stand degraded in a trance.
His voice can speak of nothing,
Except of hurt and angered rage.
His eyes can't see his happiness,
That's locked inside a cage.
He crushes me until I break.
I get my things to pack.
I'll wish I had my Dream Man.
Then, in an instant, He comes back.
