To celebrate one of the most beautiful atmospheric phenomena witnessed come rainy seasons is the
R A I N B O W !!!
This is a simple exercise, that with careful creative thought, one can create a little masterpiece. You may want to play with the colors, mood, atmosphere, and emphasis, etc. before finalizing your execution. Now...how to structure your Rainbow Poems is explained below.
Instructions:
List the colors of the rainbow, in order, down the left side of a piece of paper / computer screen

. {Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet}. Then, with each color, write an object (noun) of something that is that color. Then, using the progressive verb tense (the "ing" form), spend some time creatively describing what the noun is doing. A model poem is listed below. Each Rainbow Poem can stand alone, or they can be in a cycle, each relating to one another.
Last, but not least, one does not have to limit oneself to writing and posting just one Rainbow Poem! Get Creative! Think of food, books, nature, animals, people, your experiences, mystical lands, fantasy, outer space, and so so so much more...just to name a few...
Enjoy and I look forward to experiencing
