ok i NEVER do this and you all know that...

i did this piece impromptu writing on this forum. i don't even know where it came from, but it regurgitated itself onto paper in less than 5 minutes. i'm not totally sure what it means but i think i'm making a statement or 12 in there somewhere. please tell me if it even makes any sense and if somethin doesnt sound right or is confusing.

bear in mind i tend to write kind of mystically anyway, so theres gonna be some artistic disconnect...its a fact of art.

anyway, i'm lookin at a poetry book thing soon and if it was decent enough, i could run it through the saloon, have a shot and an amen and be on my way. i wanted to address any problems before i give it my blessing to enter the saloon

thanks, you help me write better.

zaac

Well Zaac!! It sound like you're not done with you birthday partying yet!Still in web#1? No matter, I will take on the challenge you have here. Please excuse me for my rewrites on your work here. I hope you don't mind, but I truly wanted to get some understanding of what you have here. After reading this work, this is how I read it:
Anyway, I'm reading a poetry book. Suddenly I felt I could just run with the book to the saloon. Have a shot, say a pray and be on my way. I felt the need to address any problems before I entered the saloon to give my blessings. This is how I understood your work:
Anyway, I'm reading a poetry book.
Suddenly, I felt I could just run with the book to the saloon.
Before I entered to give my blessings, I needed to address any problems first.
Then I went in, had a shot and went on my way.

Zaac, I believe your language here is purely symbolic: Poetry book= The Holy Bible
The Saloon= The Church
A Shot= A sermon in Church
I hope I've helped you and do apologize if I have changed any of your perceived ideal as stated in your original writing.

i have been sitting here with my jaw on the floor reading this over and over. i would never have expected to hear that...and it was dead on. I think you should hang around for my more of my ramblings, I might actually figure myself out. It is very poignant, what you say. This has been a struggle of a lifetime. And I never thought how, in its simplest form, it is as you say.

Poet, your mind intrigues me, and gives me a have a care smile. thanks.
