Quote:
And we are left alone in this trance
The un-practical romance
Cut off from all that's real
we've learned how to conceal
That which makes us who we are
In exchange for another scar
And what of all that we cherish?
They'll all perish.
Under this reign of pain

Very nice writing from your friend MS MANGO - send an invite to JPiC if you like...
Anyway - this is some really nice piece of writing... Such "unpractical romance"? MsJacquiiC knows ALLLLL about that lol. But one thing is that in the concealing you tend to loose a bit of yourself - That's why I'm scarless... Tired of concealing. Perhaps also that's why I tend to be a bit lonely.... In the courage - I've found cowards with tougher tricks up their sleeves.
And still I say "Yep! They'll perish! Caught up in the game of karma..."
Being caught up in the reign of pain is why I'm not really smiling at this poem, but rather nodding my head in a horribly acquiescense of knowing.
Very interesting poem.
Thanx MANGO for sharing it with us - And thank your friend for writing.
Very poignant piece with tough truth as the testimony.
Jacquii.
