"Queen of Kong"

O’ wretched beast am I to stare at you
Through depths of endless jungle
For what beast are you?
With hair as lush as running vines,
Lips ripe as papaya, mango, red melon
Embedded eyes like lagoon teeming deep with vibrant blue
Must I come nearer?
Closer to you because you fill every diameter of my giant eyes,
Strike my curiosity with the force of the native’s spear.
Fascinated am I,
For I’ve never seen the likes of such beauty in the jungle so wild
Except in the form of a small rose.
Need I run my finger through your hair just to know you’re not a dream.
Please be not afraid if I grasp you with my rugged hands
For my only intent is to protect this rare rose before me
Whom greedy men would take away and
Should they try to steal you away,
Spoil your beautiful face,
Then I will rush you to the tops of the world
Place you atop the empire-state building on a new throne
Where no man can touch you.
There, I will protect you from all harm
Forge out my heart’s last unbearable beat for you
Upon my chest with the ragging rhythm of a conga drum.
So this whole world will know the sound of my great love.
Should their planes finally riddle my flesh with bullets and I fall from you.
Smile for me little one.
For I am not falling to my death, but
I’m falling in love with you.

Very, very chivalrous and romantic and protective at the same time. The entire poem is beautiful! I love it...it ebbs and flows with amazement and wonder, and lastly...with love. I could see Kong running while I read, gently curving his "rugged" hands around the delicate beauty...her knight to the rescue!!
