She whispered across places
within my being
I never knew existed,
waking the sleeper inside
with soft promptings
as balm upon my soul,
uttering subtle directions
that opened rivers
where I shall gladly drown!

Cleanse my wounds,
bear every salty tear
that you've birthed
in my awakening...
