One take on life,
a reality escape,
believe in disbelief,
that people will take,
every ounce of you is beautiful,
I'm so full of this love,
that I'm not even whole,
I give every part too good to claim,
and give it to you,
to show you why I live,
Its like this time is trial,
time apart wears on my heart,
I need you for awhile,
I might never be a warrior,
like I aspire,
but these words aren't sold,
their my souls perspiration,
I put my spirit on wings so you can see it,
everything you and I dream we can be it,
there's nothing false about knowing your heart,
and I hope I'll see you more than I know how to say,
My life's a joke,
your my hope that makes it make sense,
I can't be anymore than can be relevant,
Your all that's apparent and keeps me still in joy,
Your the root of my belief,
that love was sent from some odd corner of the solar system,
that the core of my heart,
can actually be good,
and selfish means, disappeared,
like you said they would,
I believe, I believe,
I believe, that this world will be saved by love,
previously unseen.

Dear Erik ,
I love this poem as it has such soul touching ingredients to it. All the elements that make me smile are alive here. I felt the love inside you from scribing this piece. I love the layering of feelings and emotions. The last stanza simply added that magical Erik touch that we know so well. AWESOME!!!!!!! A must read. Another "Excellent Rating".
