Cleansing Emotional Bonds

I take my tender loving hands
And remove the cloak of mistrust from her shoulders.
Slowly and gently releasing the silken gown
Of regret from her soft flesh.

Whispering quietly come my love
Let me remove the veil
Of sorrow from her face and
Kiss the lips that were ordained only for me
~
I’ll seize the jewels of deceit from
Your arms, neck and ears, and discard your fears.
So she may feel the silkiness of the chemise
Of her misgivings and setting her free of it
~
Kissing her naked shoulders gilded with newfound faith
Liberating her from doubt and the threat of neglect and obscurity
My darling I’m moving further south
To remove the thongs of the universe
~
Eliminate the hatred and prejudice from her hips
Sliding them slowly down to the floor where they’ll be no more
Undressing her until she’s stripped naked
Of the world's evil and tainted essence just like
~
The day of her birth, emerging beautiful and untouched
As this woman stands
Before me now liberated from the negative influences
Pure and free to melt into my loving embrace.
