Short but nice, in a few words you displayed a great deal of feelings to go along with a poem that had a great flow to it. nice work, hope you continue to drop gems like one.
It's a great poem, Chelsea, with a lot of emotion bared for all to see. I remember breaking away from my last husband and how hard it was to bear the pain even though it was the best thing for myself and my daughter.
I feel for you and hope the pain grows less each day. The first two lines about arms grasping the air and finally grasping the fact that your love really gone, hit home for me for the reason I explained above. I think that anyone who has had a love leave them or left a love behind understands those lines.
