Ecstasy of Spring

Soon the arrival of spring will rekindle my soul
With the excitement of a blossoming new life with you
As we awaken passionately from the cold winter season
To the music of the sensual raindrops splashing
Rhythmically against the roof and windows
Sliding blissfully down the frosted glass panes
Glistening exquisitely in the morning sun
~
Beautiful white and pink apple blossoms
Waltz’s erotically scenting the morning breeze
Cardinals, doves and blue jays dance in the brilliant blue sky
While chirping sweet quixotic aria’s
As the sun winks luxuriously through the clouds
Rubbing the night from it’s eyes
~
As warm golden rays are painted upon her
Laying glazed with desire smiling up at me
Ravishing in her sensual morning glow
Her piercing blue eyes bears her wordless message
As our bodies are enshrouded in loves embrace
Exulting in the ecstasy of spring.
