Your omnipresence surrounds me

invades my thoughts

heightens my senses

so that I see your shade

beside me, shimmering,

throughout the day

and I am driven by the desire

to reach out

and touch your warmth

but my hand passes through you

and I am given only

the illusion of heat.

So this is

what being haunted feels like.

Dear Mysty...that first line...that first line my dear is a killer! Just ....the entire piece is executed beautifully, and I actually pictured this person reaching out and feeling "Haunted." This piece is outstanding Mysty...really. Every word is just perfect, and the progression from desire to intrinsically manifesting the oh so longed for reality, to find that it is only but an illusion is masterful. Thank you for sharing.
