The moment I saw him
with big blue eyes and
perfectly blonde hair
I knew he was something special

There was this connection
a bond, him and I
with no one I've had before

He fills me with warmth
that Florida sunshine
an ocean breeze
a beautiful day

A smile replaces the frown
on my face
just hearing his words
linger softly in my ear

Across the universe
his soul lies from mine
As I sit
waiting here
for my knight in shining armour
to return for me again.

This is a cool poem, and what's cool is that the reader can take different things away from it...I somehow got the idea that you were talking about nature...though you probably aren't. The blue eyes and the blond hair could be that Florida sea and the sun itself I feel...providing you with warmth and making you feel special...the sun and the sea are two of my favorite things so that's my interpretation... nice piece!
