Touch

Touch

I sensed the word in my mind,
a bright hologram of you.

My hand’s stunted reach stopped short,
our ghosts faded hurriedly.

Perhaps a future vision,
when what we’ve teleported

ties our pathways together,
in a more permanent light.

Happy illuminations,
for two pent up souls – released!

But, the touch is not for now…
Yet, a word is in my mind…

A bright hologram of you
and glad visions to hold dear.

A place where time is our friend
And our faded hope can touch.

Your poem is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I love the 2-stanza format - it's kinda abstract, such a delicate structure that if you blink - you need to read it once more. Such an enjoyable piece to read, would sound beautifully read! The way you tie the lines together is professionally stunning.

My favorite stanzas - is the entire poem: 'tis beautifully scribed! I will quote though...

Poem begins beautifully and culminates beautifully. I actually just recently saw an interesting show about Greek mythology... Your poem inspires vision of Pandora's box and the "hope" that never "escaped"

Thoroughly enjoyable poesy and I look forward to more of your writing.
Thanx for the sharing AND again = Welcome to JPiC!

Dear Jerry,

This was absolutely exquisite! I love the two stanza format. Lends itself to let the audience pause and absorb all the magic. Fantabulous Write!!
