TRANQUIL WATERS

Tranquil waters
Of thine evening sea
Come lapping slowly, quietly
Upon my shore white and bleak
Tell me my love
What dost thou seek?
Long awaiting thy passion’s peak
Let thine waters crash down on me
Like heavy thunder, stormily
And when thy storm has met the calm
On thine ocean carry me away, far and long

LOVE LOVE LOVE this as it reads softly as the calm waters of which you scribe. It is beautiful, and made me tranquil this morning. My mind was jumbled and uneasy until reading this. I feel like I want to just say, "Ahhhhhhh". Love the incorporation of the Old English as it gave it even a more delicate tone. Thank you for sharing.....love ya!
