Was less as a second is brief.

Two faces in a photograph,
Was all you wrote on the note you gave me,
Two faces in a photgraph,
Smiling,
And neither of them is me.

I keep holding on to the dreams I used to see at night,
And I think of the times you used to hate me,
To need you, I think I might,
Since at some hours of the days,
All you did was look at me.
