Wedding Day Expression


I love you dear, more than you know,
More than you realize,
For what you see, outside of me,
Is all you recognize.

Inside my heart aches, to be heard,
It’s hard for me to say,
The way I feel, my love for you,
Each minute of each day,

Today, we'll join our lives as one,
To face each new tomorrow,
Two lives to share, each single joy,
Each heartache and each sorrow,

I'll take you, if in sickness,
As I take you in your health,
It matters not, if you are poor,
Or you abound in wealth,

Yes, I'll be there, for you to share,
When times and trials are great,
Don’t hesitate to ask of me,
I am your lifelong mate,

I will encourage you with words,
To help your everyday,
And I'll be there to lend a hand,
If it be work or play,

Until death do us, part,

How did I miss this! This reads as though it should be on another Hallmark card. Simply beautiful. Just love, respect, support, admiration, and will be there. Not fancy dancy, just straight from your heart. I love this, as it is going into my favorites file, and I gave this a 5 "PD", Purple Dot Rating. Loved it!!! Now I can use that icon----->

This is one that someone ask me to write for them to use in a wedding. I don't think they ended up using it because they could not memorize it and did not want to have to read it off a paper. Thanks for reading and writing to me. Oh, yes, what is a purple dot.?

Hi Ron,

If you go to the top of your post of your poem, and go across to the right, you will see, a place that says rate this post. The rating system uses "Purple Dots" instead of stars. A 5 "PD" rating is the "excellent category"!! You are a 5 "PD" er!! Woooohhhooo!!!!! LOL!!

thanks, I don't know much about this site because I don't spend that much time online.
I don't even know how to print my poem title in bold because every time I try to do it, it puts unwanted characters in the body of the poem. I see everyone with all these Avatars, smile faces and signatures and I don't know how to do any of that. Just plain old Ron...............
