"Space Views from the Hubble Telescope." (part 1)

"Space Views from the Hubble Telescope." (Part 1).

Space views from the Hubble Telescope. Floating high above the Earth´s atmosphere, the Hubble Telescope offers views of deep space like no other on the Planet. From colorful, cloudlike nebulae to Saturn´s rare storms and ethereal aurora, the images it provides are elegantly detailed, spectacular in appearance, and rich in Scientific Information.
Named after American Astronomer, Edwin Powell Hubble (1889-1953), who was the first to offer observational evidence to support the Theory of the Expanding Universe and other Galaxies beyond our own. The telescope´s window on the Cosmos has been a source of exciting new data, about the Origins and Destiny of our immense interstellar neighborhood.
The Hubble could peer deeper into space and further back in time than any instrument that preceded it. It soon began sending back startling images of colliding Galaxies, swirling clouds of interstellar gas, Stars being born and also dying, and Planets forming around distant suns. It turned its eye as well to the Planets and other objects in our own Solar System, snapping pictures of Giant Cyclones on Mars and huge spring storms on Uranus. Its measurements of the rate at which the Universe is expanding have provided CLUES to the Universe´s ultimate fate. Its spectrographs permit Astronomers to analyze the light from Celestial Objects and then, determine such factors as their chemical composition, temperature, radial velocity, rotational, and magnetic fields. An image intensifier can amplify incoming light, so that it is 100,000 times brighter, making it possible to observe very distant and /or faint objects.
The Hubble has earned its place as the flagship of NASA´s GREAT OBSERVATORIES.

Hi Painted, Kim!! It is SO SO NICE TO SEE YOU HERE!! Thank you so much for stopping by at my work, and making good comments about it!! You see, Read Part 2 also. I wrote this ESSAY FOR YOU, sweetheart, beautiful lady with gorgeous eyes and red lips like new blossoms!! I LOVE ASTRONOMY!! It is One of My Favourite Science. I do not know why, but I am like RAINBOW of different things that I like to read. I almost like All Things and all Living Beings in Mother Nature: God´s Creation. I am a down to Earth sort of Woman. Thanks God, I have access to Scientific and all kind of material at this point!!I love Music, the Arts, Literature, Science, Our Natural Environment, Wildlife, Animals, to Help the Helpless, and I love LIFE above all, FOR A BETTER LIFE IN OUR WORLD TODAY!! You see, you -as a Scientist- should know that our Star, "the Sun", is aging in time. In other words, it is getting older and it´ll die one day, just like anything else in life: the natural living process. So, one day, our "Star-Sun" will turn out to become either a Novae or a Super Novae. Of course, we will all disappear (by the explosions and flames ) from the face of the Earth. I do know, Space Scientists are working on moving this World (and all the good things and living species) to another Levels in the outer Space, in places like "CITIES IN THE UNIVERSE." However, I personally believe that not too many people would be able to make it, at that point in time. "Global Warming" is also a big Issue. Scientists do know that the Heat will melt the Oceans. This fact may lead the sea level to rise and overflood the lands, therefore, that process will ruin lives and whatever exist in their deadly path. People, who live closed to the shores, might think in moving away from the Ocean, into inland places much more safe. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, DEAR PAINTED, KIM!! God bless you, sweetie!! Thank you again for reading my work!! Hugs and Love Always, from Stardust.

Hi Stardust,

It was a fine essay indeed. One little thing though. I know this is a poetry Forum, but since this is here, I wanted to make one little correction about Solar Masses, and the fate of our Sun. Yes, the Sun is dying everyday, and it has another roughly 5 billion years to go. This stuff is right up my alley, and the most rewarding Careers I have had was working as a Microscopist, Geologist, Volcanologist, and Astrophysicist.

The Fate of a Star:

A star will become either a black dwarf, neutron star, or black hole, depending on how massive it was, soooo.

A Sun-like Star (Mass under 1.5 times the mass of the Sun) --> becomes a Red Giant --> then a Planetary Nebula -->then a White Dwarf --> then die as a Black Dwarf

Huge Stars (Mass between 1.5 to 3 times the mass of the Sun) --> becomes a Red Super Giant --> then a Supernova --> then dies as a Neutron Star

Giant Stars (Mass over 3 times the mass of the Sun) --> becomes a Red Super Giant --> then a Supernova --> then becomes a Black Hole

Thanks for the read Ms Stardust and Take Care!!

Hi dear Painted Diary, Kim: WOW!! WOW!! You are a GENIOUS, sweetheart!! You know lots of things, my dear!! You are, indeed, so Special Lady. I shall take down notes from your kind Information about our "Star-Sun". I have a Book on My Private Library. I always wonder about this Issue...Have you read the Book: "A Brief History of Time. From the Big Bang to Black Holes."?? The Author is Scientist, Doctor Stephen W. Hawking. He has severe dissabilities, but still a genious man. I always wonder about BLACK HOLES IN THE UNIVERSE. Do they eat up Planets, the way Dr. Hopkins talks about in his Book of Science??...Is it TRUE??...I just wonder...Happy Holidays, Kim, and to all your loved ones!! Talk to you soon...Hugs and Love Always, from Stardust.
